Our Methodology

Historically the focus of an organization and its employees are misaligned. The organization's goal is to operate and grow profitably. The employee's goal is to get by and get paid. It is the responsibility of Profit x Design to align these groups.

A stable organization knows 90% of what is needed to succeed. It is our job to facilitate conversations, find extremely profitable opportunities, and make the lives of employees better.

In many instances, it is these extremely manual and frustrating tasks that provide the most opportunity. 

Leveraging, internal ideas and executing quickly help create internal champions, and a culture of growth and improvement. 

It is the responsibility of Profit x Design to ask the correct questions drill down to the problem, help outline solutions and execute these opportunities, quickly and efficiently.

Our Process

Profit X Design

Our team will conduct a 3-day Profit by Design at your facility to identify 10 - 40 improvements that would lead to major returns on investment.

Project Prioritization

Our team will shortlist a handful of initiatives that can be implemented within 12 weeks and deliver an ROI between 20x - 100x within 12 months.

Execution & Support

We establish an ongoing engagement with your team to execute and manage the deliverables of the initiatives identified.

Dave Griffith

Dave Griffith brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that spans the many facets of Industrial Automation and Manufacturing.

Dave has spent the last 15 years helping different companies grow and become competitive in the Industrial Space.

Dave’s expertise is in Project Conception, Design, System Architecture, and Implementation. He specializes in helping industrial clients implement cost-saving processes that quickly pay for themselves, with an emphasis on IIoT, Industry 4.0 and other Data-Driven Solutions.

Dave is an ambassador for cooperation and community-building in the Industrial Automation space. Most recently, he has become a much-beloved co-host of the weekly multimedia broadcast, Manufacturing Hub. Dave has studied at and holds degrees from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and the University of Buffalo.

Vlad Romanov

Solution Architect | CONTROL

Vlad has over 10 years of manufacturing experience at P&G, Kraft Heinz, Post Holdings. Upon graduation, he joined Procter & Gamble to develop himself as a leader and execute multimillion-dollar projects while leading cross-functional teams.

He then joined Kraft Heinz in 2017, and was put in charge of 26 mechanics and electricians while trying to manage tight budgets, KPIs and Lean Six Sigma initiatives at a food production facility.

Vlad then joined DreamVersion where he took on multiple roles, supporting several clients (Kraft Heinz and Post Holdings) in a manufacturing setting and helping them with their digital transformation journey.

As he grew his capabilities on the technical side, his desire to fully understand business aspects grew. While maintaining a part-time capacity at DreamVersion, I completed an MBA at McGill University.
